Come to Forest School in the woods, where we will develop a closer connection to the natural world and nurture your well being.
Forest School for older Adults from Ennis involving the creation of a large canvas in the woods made from hessian suspended between trees and interwoven with craft related items produced within the group over the duration of the event of 3 x 3 hour sessions.
We will record the process and assist the participants to explore a variety of crafts and materials to reflect their own shared experience, values and hopes as senior citizens of Ennis, their family stories and their impact on the town and the legacy they would like to leave.
Places on this project are free and limited to 20 people. It is fully funded by Clare County Council under the Festivals & Events 2026 Grant Scheme.
