Open Day Sunday 17th May | 1pm-3pm | Lees Road Park, Ennis
Free — donations welcomed
Something new is coming to Lees Road Park — and we'd love you to come and see for yourself.
Madra Crainn is The Feeding Tree's brand new forest school for teenagers, and this Open Day is your teenager's chance to try it on for size before committing to anything.
Who is this for?
Madra Crainn Forest School is designed for young people aged 11–17. For this first Open Day we're focusing on the 11–14 age group — though if you feel your pre-teen or teenager is a good fit regardless of age, please do book in and we'll have a chat.
What will they actually do?
A proper taster of what Madra Crainn is all about — hands-on activities, time in nature, and a chance to meet like-minded young people. Think less screen, more doing. Real skills, fresh air, and the kind of afternoon that's hard to explain but easy to remember.
A note for parents
This is a drop-off session — your teenager will be in safe, experienced hands, and some of the magic happens precisely because the adults they know aren't watching! You're welcome to browse Lees Road Park while you wait, or head into Ennis and come back at pick-up time. Full details including drop-off and pick-up arrangements will be sent by email a couple of days before the event.
Practical details
📅 Date: Saturday 17th May
📍 Location: Lees Road Park, Ennis
💶 Free — donations gratefully received
👟 Wear: Clothes for outdoors, sturdy shoes, layers — and expect to get a little muddy!
Spaces are limited — book now to secure your teenager's spot. 🐿️
If your plans change and you can no longer make it, please let us know as soon as possible — spaces are limited and another young person may be waiting for the chance to come along.
